Marketing Assistant
Fortify Communications is a provider of managed telecommunication services specializing in hosted call center and IVR solutions. We are the US-based affiliate of one of Germany’s most successful managed service providers.
We are looking for a Marketing Assistant for our fledgling USA operations. The position will be part of a new company and a new structure in a small but growing team. The main focus is to help position Fortify Communications as a high quality provider of telecommunication services and actively create new business relationships in different industries. Position requires understanding of written German.

| Responsibilities |
Responsibilities of the position include:
The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for marketing and sales support as part of overall brand-building for our different telecommunication services.
The Marketing Assistant’s essential duties include, but are not limited to the following: - Development and execution from conceptual design, texting and production of all marketing and sales collateral, including brochures, product sheets, sales presentations, new product and promotional announcements.
- Write, edit and maintain web site content, newsletter, sales and marketing collateral, manuals and other company material.
- Build and maintain library of marketing brochures, sales communication and reference materials.
- Ensure adequate supply of communication materials and coordinate sample deliveries as needed.
- Support new product development with editorial copy, product information sheets, instruction sheets, screen shots etc.
- Prepare all trade show activity and attend trade shows when requested to setup, work the show, and tear down.
- Assist Sales team with development of presentations and custom collateral for clients.
- Conduct market research with customers, vendors, and new products.

| Qualifications and experience |
Equivalent to possession of a bachelor's degree (B.A.), preferably with major course work in marketing or English. 2- 5 yrs marketing related experience preferably in technology. - Passion for marketing - high energy, excellent follow through, detail oriented.
- Proven eQualifications and experiencexperience in working with third party resources such as designers, printers, marketing agencies and other suppliers.
- Strong skills in copywriting, editing and sales collateral development experience.
- Excellent command of the English language, with strong proof-reading skills
- Good understanding of written German is a must.
- Some proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign or Illustrator
- Coordination and planning of tradeshows, seminars or other marketing events
- High motivation and self starter
- Excellent teamwork skills
